Spring Outfits for Busy Moms

Woman clothes dress accessories fashion shopping on white

There’s about 15 inches of snow outside my window right now. It’s March 17th (Happy St. Patrick’s Day!) – and I am dreaming….begging…for spring to arrive.  So, I’ve been browsing the isles, looking for some new clothes to wear as soon as the weather breaks….

Being a “busy mom” – I don’t get dressed up most days. I’m keepin’ it casual, so my wardrobe is more function over fashion. But that doesn’t mean I can’t look cute some days, right? Here are my picks for some fun, easy, spring outfit “busy mom” styles that you might like for the warmer weather that’s coming. (It is coming, right??)

I love these cropped jeans from Target! These are plus sized, and so cute. I usually like to cover up my butt, so having embellishments on the cuffs instead of the pockets is a nice feature. Oh, and they are only $29.99…and currently in my shopping cart.

More embroidery – I guess that’s a thing this season….but I just love the color of this top, a soft dusty green. Look at those cute sleeves! I’m a big fan of the length too (cover the booty). Another Target find…It’s a plus size option, $24.99, and yes it is also in my cart. 🙂

Guess what? Yep, more embroidery! This jacket is cool – great for chilly mornings. The flowers wrap around to the back. Find it on Nordstrom – it’s $100, but it’s really pretty.

I know…no embroidery! Believe me, it was hard to find something without it. But here’s another spring trend – off the shoulder styles are everywhere right now. This one is very cute and casual. It’s from Old Navy, and it’s only $18 right now!

Well, I’d be wearing these with a pair of sneakers, but still – cute pants! They are relaxed with being too relaxed, if you know what I mean.  And this color goes with everything. Gap pants, $59.95

dress

I headed back to Target because I love their spring dress selection. A dress is super easy style – one piece and your done! This one is sporting that “look at my shoulders” trend, and the length is great for plus-sized ladies like me. $29.99 can’t be beat!

And one more dress – this one was so bright and cheery – perfect for those April showers, gotta take the kids to a kiddie party and then meet the girls for drinks, sort of days.  Yes, again from Target – $34.99

Busy moms don’t have to look dumpy – these spring outfit ideas will help you perk up your wardrobe while being casual and comfortable.
